How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from within the Lalita application by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Lalita account.
2. Navigate to the Settings page, typically accessible from the main dashboard.
3. In the Settings page, find the Account section.
4. Click on the "Delete Account" button.
5. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Please read the confirmation message carefully.
6. Once confirmed, the deletion process will begin.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

When you request to delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our application servers:

• Your user profile (name, bio, date of birth, etc.)
• All of your uploaded photos.
• Your matching preferences and core life priorities.
• Your swipe history (likes and dislikes).
• All of your chat conversations and messages.
• Your online presence status history.
• Your donation history within the app.

Please note: The account deletion is final and cannot be undone. If you wish to use Lalita again in the future, you will need to create a new account.

Third-Party Data (Donations)

If you have made donations through our partner Pledge, please be aware that while we delete all records of your donations from our app, Pledge is an independent payment processor and is required by law to maintain its own records of financial transactions. Deleting your Lalita account does not delete your transaction history with Pledge.
